Council Minutes of 4-16-2019 for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the 2019 Sidewalk Program, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert, Kearney, Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Schumann, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2019-52 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2019-52 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the 2019 Sidewalk Program, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Ordinance 2019-56 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and Councilman Schumann. An Ordinance accepting a deed from Kiwanis Club of North Olmsted donating land to the City of North Olmsted, as amended. Ordinance 2019-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Joint Use Agreement with Cuyahoga County Community College District, as an instrumentality of the State of Ohio, and to accept a specific appropriation of Capital Resources in the amount of $200,000.00 for the improvement of, and modification to, the facilities comprising the City of North Olmsted Disaster Recovery Fiber Ring, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Glassbum scheduled an Intra -Governmental Relations meeting for Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-58. The Director of Finance is asked to attend.
