Council Minutes of 4-16-2019 <br />Councilman Schumann moved to amend Ordinance 2019-56. Ordinance 2019-56 amended 7-0. <br />Councilman Limpert Chairman of the Streets and Transportation Committee: <br />The Streets & Transportation Committee met on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. <br />Present were committee members Limpert, Kearney and Glassburn; Council members <br />Brossard, Hemann, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor <br />Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, <br />Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2019-53. An Ordinance to levy sidewalk <br />assessment upon listed real property for the total costs incurred by the City of <br />North Olmsted to repair, replace or construct sidewalks adjacent thereto, as such <br />improvements were deemed necessary and installed pursuant to the 2018 <br />Sidewalk Program in the City of North Olmsted. Director Lieber said this is for <br />residents who had repairs done as part of the 2018 Sidewalk Program that have <br />not paid their invoice. After discussion there was a resident who was objecting to <br />the invoice and the committee determined it would hold the legislation in <br />committee to have time to review the objection by the resident. The resident <br />resides at 5777 Park Road. The committee voted to hold in committee 3-0. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No participation. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2019-51 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 2020 Peterbilt Truck from Northern <br />Ohio Peterbilt, including a hooklift system installed by Concord Road Equipment, at a <br />combined cost of $171,899.23, as priced through State approved cooperative purchasing <br />programs; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption.
