MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JUNE 11, 2019 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, <br />I,impert. Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service GlaLmer, Director of <br />Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk ofCouncil Massarolo <br />Absent: Council Member Brossard and Director of Law Gareau <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:19 p.m. in Council Chambers. <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited tojoin Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: First Reading: Resolution 2019-66, <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• No Report. <br />Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, June I f . 2019 at 7:20 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Schumann and Kearney. Council members Glassburn. Hemann, <br />I.impert and Williamson; Council President .Jones, Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance <br />Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, <br />Director of Planning & Development Lieber, Road Foreman Demaline, Assistant <br />Maintenance Superintendent at the Waste Water Treatment Plant Ramsey, IT Network <br />Administrator Lundberg, Vice President of Service for Harrington Electric Robinette and <br />guests. <br />• Discussed first was Resolution 2019-66. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into a contract with Harrington Electric Company to perform electrical <br />repair services at the City Hall Complex under the real and present emergency <br />exception to public bidding, and declaring an emergency.
