Special Council Minutes of 6-1 1-2019 <br />issues that City Hall is having. Passing this legislation will ultimately replace the <br />transformer, it will provide LED lightning in the building, rewire City Hall to a <br />certain extent and add a generator. The City has lost as much as $50,000 in <br />hardware over the last several years because of low power and spikes in power. <br />The committee voted to recommend to Council 2-0 with suspension. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2019-60. An Ordinance to make appropriations for <br />current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the <br />year ending December 31, 2019 and declaring an emergency, as amended. This <br />legislation was discussed in committee. The committee voted to recommend to <br />Council 2-0 as amended. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to amend Ordinance 2019-60. Ordinance 2019-60 amended 6-0. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No participation. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2019-60 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 3l, 2019 and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. <br />Resolution 2019-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Harrington Electric <br />Company to perform electrical repair services at the City Hall Complex under the real <br />and present emergency exception to public bidding, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three reading as this was <br />discussed in committee this evening.
