Council Minutes of 8-6-2019 None. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2019-69 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Schumann. An Ordinance amending Section 1363.302.13 of Chapter 1363 of the Real Property Maintenance Code entitled "Supplemental Regulations for Residential Property" in order to provide standards for maintenance of dumpsters. Resolution 2019-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for an Ohio History Fund grant through the Ohio History Connection to produce a local history public event; further authorizing the use of City funds for local match; further authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if awarded, and to execute contracts as required; and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2019-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for excess insurance coverage for the City's Health Care & Hospitalization Plans for 2020; and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for services. Ordinance 2019-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2014-4 to further amend fee ranges, to reorganize the format of the fee structures and to restate the program fees for use of park and recreation facilities. Resolution 2019-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to renew the contract between the City and Karrie Skall Tipton / North Olmsted Gymnastics, Inc. for the provision of professional gymnastics instruction services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center for an additional term of one (1) year. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development meeting for Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-69. The Director of Planning & Development is asked to attend. Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 7:35 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-70 and Resolution 2019-71. The Director of Human Resources and Director of Planning & Development are asked to attend. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings meeting for Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. to take a tour of the Recreation Center. The meeting will start in the Recreation Center lobby.
