Council Minutes of 9-3-2019 <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-72 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2019-73 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to renew the contract between the City and Karrie <br />Skall Tipton / North Olmsted Gymnastics, Inc. for the provision of professional <br />gymnastics instruction services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center for an additional <br />term of one (1) year. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kearney, Hemann, Glassburn, Limpert, Brossard, Williamson, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2019-73 adopted 7-0. <br />Councilwoman Hemann voted yes with comment. I would like to thank Director Betsy <br />Drenski for securing more revenue for us this year through this contract. It was a good <br />rework that she did. <br />Ordinance 2019-74 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the donation of surplus and vacant real property to the Cleveland <br />Metroparks, specifically Permanent Parcel Nos. 233-18-028, 233-18-035, and 233-19- <br />039, which were acquired by and through the North Olmsted Land Reutilization Program <br />(Land Bank), subject to review and approval by the Director of Law as to form, and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute any required documentation and Deeds of <br />Conveyance. <br />Ordinance 2019-75 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 915.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted to (1) establish revised charges for the use of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer <br />System; (2) establish a Homestead Exemption Program; (3) include an affordability <br />discount; and (4) adjust to a monthly billing protocol; and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. <br />Resolution 2019-76 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to solicit Statements of <br />Qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide architectural and <br />engineering services for the North Olmsted Community Park Ballfields Rehabilitation <br />Project, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, <br />to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the "R.F.Q." process, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-77 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to solicit Statements of <br />Qualifications (S.O.Q.) from qualified individuals to provide Building Official and <br />Master Plans Examiner services to the City, and further authorizing the Mayor, following <br />approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the individual or firm <br />selected in the S.O.Q. process. <br />0 <br />
