Council Minutes of 9-17-2019 Resolution 2019-84 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to purchase concrete materials and related supplies for the year 2020, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2019-85 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into a contract to dispose of an obsolete dewatering centrifuge in exchange for rate reduction for sludge disposal service, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Environmental Control meeting for Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-85. The Director of Safety & Service is asked to attend. Councilman Limpert scheduled a Streets and Transportation meeting for Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-84. The Director of Safety & Service is asked to attend. Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole meeting for Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 7:05 p.m. for an electric update. The Director of Human Resources and Director of Safety & Service are asked to attend. Councilman Schumann moved excuse the absence of Councilwoman Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Glassburn, Limpert No: None Motion carried. Councilwoman Williamson excused 6-0.
