('011IhlI Minutes 01' 10-15-2019 Ordinance 2019-91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 179 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Department of Planning and Development- in order to (1) rename the Department °The. Department of Planning and Community Development". (2) create a position of Communications Manager: (3) reorganize the Department by adding the Divisions of Aging and Youth and Family Services, and (4) remove the Division of Building from the Department. Resolution 2019-92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution dispensing with the formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Sedgwick in order to provide for managed care services and administration of self-insured workers compensation program. MISCELLANEIS B) C)LINESS Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday. October 22, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-90, Ordinance 2019-91 and Resolution 2019-92. The Director of Human Resources and Director of Planning & Development are asked to attend. Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole meeting for Wednesday, ;november 6, 2019 at 7:15 p.m, to get an update on the Building Department, Ward Sweeps and the Sidewalk Program. Council President Jones noted the Committee of the Whole and the first regularly, scheduled Council Meeting w of November ill be on Wednesday. November 6`r' due to the election being on Tuesday.
