Resolution 2019-84 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-80 introduced by C:`ouncilwoman Williamson was given its second <br />reading. An Ordinance amending Chapter 557 of the General Offenses Code of the City <br />of North Olmsted, entitled. "Sale ofC:igaret:tes and Tobacco Products to Minors,— in order <br />to prohibit the sale to or possession ofcigarettes, electronic cigarettes and vaping devices <br />by individuals under 21 years of age, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Resolution 2019-87 introduced by Mayor Kennedy Nvas given its second reading. A <br />Resolution to cooperate with the Director of Transportation of the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation for a project to upgrade traffic signals and the signal systern along <br />Brookpark Road, Great Northern Boulevard, C011,1111bia Road, Clague Road, Country <br />Club Boulevard and Butternut Ridge Road including curb ramps, signing and pavement <br />markings in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Limpert moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was heard in <br />committee and needs to be suspended to support ODOT timelines. Resolution 2019-87 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2019-88 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make <br />application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted fir Community Development Blink <br />Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2020 for the North Olmsted Community Park <br />Walking Path project, further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if aGvarded and to <br />execute a contract with Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-90 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter <br />167 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Department of 1-luman Resources" in order to <br />reorganize by removing the Divisions of Aging and Youth and Family Services from the <br />Department and adding the Division of Building. <br />5 <br />
