Council Minutes of 12-3-2019 <br />Resolution 2019-101 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for the 2020 Cuyahoga County Supplemental Grant <br />Program; further authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if awarded, and to execute a <br />contract as required; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time <br />sensitive. Resolution 2019-101 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations <br />for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year <br />ending December 31, 2019 and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />vending services contract with Pepsico Foodservice, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Kearney. <br />An Ordinance (1) exempting retail establishments in the City of North Olmsted from <br />Cuyahoga County Ordinance 02019-0005, creating a new Chapter 1304 of the Cuyahoga <br />County Code and establishing a countywide ban on disposable bag usage in retail <br />establishments; and (2) creating new Chapter 761 of the Business Regulation Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Retail Disposable Bag <br />Recycling," and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />agreements with the City of Cleveland, Division of Water to establish a Municipal <br />Utilities District, to restate the Water Services Agreement, and to provide for the transfer <br />of Water Utility Assets from the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance 2019-107 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make temporary appropriations for <br />current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year <br />ending December 31, 2020 and declaring an emergency. <br />7 <br />
