MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED DECEMBER 16, 2019 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Director of Finance Copfer Council President Jones called the special meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • No Report. Councilman Kearney Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee: The Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Hemann and Brossard; Council members Glassburn, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, Recreation Commissioner Drenski and guests.. • Discussed first was Resolution 2019-104. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a vending services contract with Pepsico Foodservice, and declaring an emergency. The City is moving forward with Pepsi as their deal was sweeter. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council with suspension. Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 7:25 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday December 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Present
