Special Council Minutes of 12-16-2019 <br />Ordinance 2019-105 introduced by Councilman Kearney was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance (1) exempting retail establishments in the City of North Olmsted from <br />Cuyahoga County Ordinance 02019-0005, creating a new Chapter 1304 of the Cuyahoga <br />County Code and establishing a countywide ban on disposable bag usage in retail <br />establishments; and (2) creating new Chapter 761 of the Business Regulation Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Retail Disposable Bag <br />Recycling," and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance 2019-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make temporary appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2020 and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance 2019-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies <br />with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim <br />account of the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Environmental Control meeting for Tuesday, <br />December 17 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-105. <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at <br />7:15 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-108. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled an Intra -Governmental Relations meeting for Tuesday, <br />December 17, 2019 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss several reappointments to various Boards and <br />Commissions. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 7:40 p.m. <br />Charles Massarolo I, Clerk of Council <br />Nicole Dailey Jones, d t of Council <br />7 <br />
