Special Council Minutes of 12-16-2019 Ordinance 2019-105 introduced by Councilman Kearney was given its second reading. An Ordinance (1) exempting retail establishments in the City of North Olmsted from Cuyahoga County Ordinance 02019-0005, creating a new Chapter 1304 of the Cuyahoga County Code and establishing a countywide ban on disposable bag usage in retail establishments; and (2) creating new Chapter 761 of the Business Regulation Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Retail Disposable Bag Recycling," and declaring an emergency, as amended. Ordinance 2019-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance to make temporary appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2020 and declaring an emergency, as amended. Ordinance 2019-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim account of the City, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Environmental Control meeting for Tuesday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-105. Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-108. Councilman Glassburn scheduled an Intra -Governmental Relations meeting for Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss several reappointments to various Boards and Commissions.
