MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED DECEMBER 17, 2019 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of November 19, 2019 were approved as written. The Council meeting minutes of December 3, 2019 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Ordinance 2019-108; First Reading: Resolution 2019-113 and Ordinance 2019-116. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: • Council should have received a memo regarding emergency legislation, suspension of the rules requiring three readings and suspension of the rules regarding committee referral. If there are any questions regarding it, feel free to get in touch with me. • I want to thank and commend Councilman Kearney for his services to the City as this is his last meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, it has been a pleasure and he has been a good Councilperson. Director of Finance Copfer: • I echo Mr. Gareau's comments regarding Mr. Kearney's service to the community. He is always willing to roll up his sleeves and get the work done.
