MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />DECEMBER 17, 2019 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of <br />Council Massarolo <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of November 19, 2019 were approved as written. <br />The Council meeting minutes of December 3, 2019 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Ordinance 2019-108; First Reading: Resolution 2019-113 <br />and Ordinance 2019-116. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• Council should have received a memo regarding emergency legislation, <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and suspension of the rules <br />regarding committee referral. If there are any questions regarding it, feel free to <br />get in touch with me. <br />• I want to thank and commend Councilman Kearney for his services to the City as <br />this is his last meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, it has been a <br />pleasure and he has been a good Councilperson. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• I echo Mr. Gareau's comments regarding Mr. Kearney's service to the <br />community. He is always willing to roll up his sleeves and get the work done. <br />Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Schumann, Brossard and Kearney; Council members Glassburn, <br />
