Council Minutes of 12-17-2019 <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Fire Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Limpert, Glassburn, Hemann, Schumann, Kearney <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2019-99 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-103 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2019 and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Williamson, Glassburn, Kearney, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-103 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2019-104 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a vending services contract with Pepsico <br />Foodservice, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kearney, Hemann, Brossard, Glassburn, Limpert, Williamson, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2019-104 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-105 introduced by Councilman Kearney was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance (1) exempting retail establishments in the City of North Olmsted from <br />Cuyahoga County Ordinance 02019-0005, creating a new Chapter 1304 of the Cuyahoga <br />County Code and establishing a countywide ban on disposable bag usage in retail <br />establishments; and (2) creating new Chapter 761 of the Business Regulation Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Retail Disposable Bag <br />Recycling," and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed 6-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kearney, Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Limpert, Williamson <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-105 adopted 6-1. <br />Councilman Schumann voted yes with comment. Normally, in the City of North Olmsted <br />when we do anything, at least any big changes, anything that is going to affect residents <br />or businesses we talk about it.
