MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 21, 2020 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kelly, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and <br />Clerk of Council Massarolo <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2020-6 and 2019-115; First Reading: <br />Resolution 2020-21 and Resolution 2020-22. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• The fourth quarter review was e-mailed to Council and the Directors today. <br />Council President Jones, Committee of the Whole: <br />The Committee of the Whole met on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 7:25 p.m. Present <br />were Council members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann and <br />Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director <br />of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Council discussed the Council appointments to the Landmarks and Recreation <br />Commissions. Councilman Limpert was nominated for the Landmarks <br />Commission and passed 6-1. Councilman Brossard was nominated for the <br />Recreation Commission and passed 7-0. <br />Councilman Brossard moved to appoint Councilman Limpert to the Landmarks <br />Commission The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed 6-1. <br />
