MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JANUARY 21, 2020 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2020-6 and 2019-115; First Reading: Resolution 2020-21 and Resolution 2020-22. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • The fourth quarter review was e-mailed to Council and the Directors today. Council President Jones, Committee of the Whole: The Committee of the Whole met on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 7:25 p.m. Present were Council members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. • Council discussed the Council appointments to the Landmarks and Recreation Commissions. Councilman Limpert was nominated for the Landmarks Commission and passed 6-1. Councilman Brossard was nominated for the Recreation Commission and passed 7-0. Councilman Brossard moved to appoint Councilman Limpert to the Landmarks Commission The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed 6-1.
