Council Minutes of 1-21-2020 <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the <br />same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2020-6 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of a replacement sidewalk snow clearing vehicle for use by the City of North <br />Olmsted Service Department, as per specifications on file, and further authorizing the <br />Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract to purchase the <br />same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend <br />the rule requiring three readings as this issue is time sensitive. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 2020 International HV507 salt truck <br />chassis from International, at a cost of $77,424.00, and to include installation of a hook <br />lift hoist snow assembly from Concord Road Equipment, at a cost of $118,820.95, at a <br />combined cost of $196,244.95, through the State Purchase Program; and further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Resolution 2020-8 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new wheel loader from Southeastern <br />Equipment Company, at a cost of $136,098.53, through the State Purchase Program; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Ordinance 2020-9 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,405,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Alden <br />Drive and certain termini in the City by reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement <br />base, adjusting, constructing and reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, <br />manholes and utility valve and monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface <br />and resurfacing, in each case together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2020-10 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading.
