Council Minutes of 2-4-2020 <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kelly and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Kelly, Schumann, Williamson, Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-31 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2020-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Community Development to request <br />Statements of Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified professionals to provide engineering <br />services for The Clague Road Corridor Study, and further authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the firm selected <br />in the RFQ process. <br />Resolution 2020-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into <br />an agreement with the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC), to accept <br />NOPEC Energized Community Grants for 2020, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2020-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Cuyahoga County <br />Juvenile Court to participate in the Court's Community Diversion Program to address <br />juvenile's charged with misdemeanor, status and select felony offenses in the City of <br />North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in <br />Caucus and is time sensitive.
