Council Minutes of 2-4-2020 Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Schumann, Hemann, Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Limpert, Williamson, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2020-26 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2020-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2020 and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2020-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Pradco and Personnel Selection Services for the purpose of providing testing services to the Civil Service Commission, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2020-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to accept a Fresh Food Capacity Building Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 from the Ohio Association of Foodbanks and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement for same. Resolution 2020-30 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F350 Truck from Valley Ford Truck, at a cost of $48,243.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. Resolution 2020-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety and Service to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted to participate in the Cuyahoga County 50150 Funding Program for 2021 and 2022 for improvement of Butternut Ridge Road; further authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if awarded, and to execute contracts as required; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal committee review as this is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously.
