Resolution 2020-26 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2020-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2020 and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2020-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Pradco and Personnel Selection Services for the purpose of providing <br />testing services to the Civil Service Commission, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2020-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to accept a <br />Fresh Food Capacity Building Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 from the Ohio <br />Association of Foodbanks and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />for same. <br />Resolution 2020-30 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F350 Truck from Valley Ford <br />Truck, at a cost of $48,243.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Resolution 2020-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety and Service to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted to participate in the Cuyahoga County 50150 Funding <br />Program for 2021 and 2022 for improvement of Butternut Ridge Road; further <br />authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if awarded, and to execute contracts as required; <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rule requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review as this is time sensitive.
