Council Minutes of 2-4-2020 passed earlier. He said, this is a procedure change and it is doing away with the second set of eyes to look at the action being considered. He said the Chamber asked Council to vote no on this Ordinance or to amend it so the Director of Planning & Development is replaced by the Director of Human Resources. LEGISLATION Resolution 2020-1 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into separate contracts, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, with Carlie Jones, Emily Susman and Jen Dahler, for fitness instructor services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center for a term of one (1) year. Councilman Kelly moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Kelly, Hemann, Brossard, Schumann, Williamson, Limpert, Glassburn No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2020-1 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2020-2 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Country Club Boulevard East Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder.
