MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FEBRUARY 18, 2020 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Council Members Brossard and Schumann Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council Meeting Minutes of February 4, 2020 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Ordinance 2020-27, Resolution 2020-29, Resolution 2020-33 and Resolution 2020-36; First Reading: Resolution 2020-38. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: • I had the pleasure of working this evening with the newly constituted Charter Review Commission and there are seven new members who have not previously served. I helped them get organized. It was a good meeting. It was a chance for the members to understand the process and their duties. They have scheduled their next meeting for Thursday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and anyone who has any ideas can forward the ideas to any member of Council, the Commission, Clerk or a member of the Administration. Director of Finance Copfer: • No Report. Councilwoman Williamson Vice Chairwoman of the Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee: The Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 7:41 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard, Limpert and Williamson;
