Council Minutes of 3-03-2020 <br />Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of <br />Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning and Community Development and <br />guests. <br />• Discussed was the appointment of Humberto Olivos to the Planning and Design <br />Commission to fill an unexpired term ending December 31, 2020. He is an <br />architect with extensive experience. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend his <br />appointment to Council. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to approve the Mayor's appointment of Mr. Olivos to the <br />Planning and Design Commission to fill an unexpired term ending December 31, 2020. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Schumann, Hemann, Brossard, Limpert, Kelly, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Mr. Olivos appointed 7-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Council received an e-mail from former Councilman Mahoney regarding Charter Review <br />Commission appointments. Clerk Massarolo said he would forward it to all Council <br />Members following the meeting. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Charles Repede <br />5675 Wellesley Avenue <br />Mr. Repede said he attended the meeting regarding Cleveland Water. He said after <br />listening to the presentation his wife and he viewed it as a win-win situation. He thinks it <br />is good thing. He urged Council to get with the City and get their questions answered so <br />the City can become members and start the process of replacing its pipes. Mr. Repede <br />also said the day after the meeting he sent an e-mail to his Councilman and the three at - <br />large members and he has not received a response from any of them. He said he would <br />like to have a response. <br />Genevieve Dietz <br />4378 Silverdale Road <br />Ms. Dietz said she wants to know why Council turned down the proposal from Cleveland <br />Water and she wanted to know who was her Councilperson. <br />Councilman Brossard said it would be him. <br />Ms. Dietz said she asked if he could explain why it was voted down 6-1. She said there <br />were at least 100 people at the meeting. <br />5 <br />
