Council Minutes of 3-03-2020 <br />Ms. Dietz said she just had heard nothing about this, but her streets has gone through <br />ditches, storm and sanitary sewers along with road widenings. <br />Councilman Limpert said I think there are a lot of questions obviously and I think the <br />Mayor wanted to inform the public. <br />Ms. Dietz said Council is the residents representatives and when you see 6-1 there is <br />something more that Council knows and more that needs to be laid on the table and more <br />to understand why. <br />Mayor Kennedy said he thinks the best solution would be to have another meeting with <br />Cleveland Water and get the public here and everyone can get to the bottom of it. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2020-28 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Pradco and Personnel Selection Services for the purpose of providing <br />testing services to the Civil Service Commission, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Williamson, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-28 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2020-30 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F350 Truck from Valley Ford <br />Truck, at a cost of $48,243.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. Councilwoman Hemann moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed <br />unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Limpert, Schumann, Williamson, Kelly, Brossard <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-30 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2020-32 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and co-sponsored by Councilman <br />Glassburn and Councilman Kelly was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Planning and Community Development to request Statements of <br />Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified professionals to provide engineering services for <br />The Clague Road Corridor Study, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval <br />by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the RFQ <br />process. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kelly and passed unanimously. <br />7 <br />
