MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED APRIL 21, 2020 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. through GoToMeeting Due to the meeting being a virtual meeting, Council President Jones requested if any member of the public using a computer wished to address Council to notifying the Clerk via the chat feature in GoToMeeting and they would be called on later in the meeting. For those dialing in via phone, the lines would be unmuted during the appropriate portion of the meeting for any comments. The Council Meeting Minutes of March 18, 2020 and April 7, 2020 were approved as written. Council President Jones announced Council had submitted questions to the administration with a request to respond at the meeting. The Administration e-mailed responses back. The responses are attached to the Minutes. She also requested that Councilmembers forward questions for the Administration to the Clerk by Noon on Thursday each week to be compiled and sent to the Administration for a response. Council President Jones said this would help ensure efficient flow of information to all Councilmembers, but if necessary, a Committee of the Whole meeting could be called for a more detailed discussion. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • Due to audio problems, there was no report and the attached responses will serve as the Mayor's report. Director of Law Gareau: • Due to audio problems, there was no report and an e-mail sent by the Director prior to the meeting and attached to the Minutes will serve as his report. Director of Finance Copfer: • Director Copfer said her convnents and report are included in the information gathered and sent to Council.
