Council Minutes of 5-19-2020 <br />County of Cuyahoga, as amended and restated in 2013, and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance 2020-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to levy sidewalk assessments upon listed Real Property for the total costs <br />incurred by the City of North Olmsted to repair, replace or construct sidewalks adjacent <br />thereto, as such improvements were deemed necessary and installed pursuant to the 2019 <br />Sidewalk Program in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution 2020-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Hemann and cosponsored by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution establishing temporary <br />outdoor patio dining areas, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved <br />to suspend to the rule requiring three readings as this is actually a critical item to our <br />restaurant and dining facilities to help them recoup financially as best they can. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Schumann, Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Kelly <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Glassburn and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Brossard, Williamson, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2020-56 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2020-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department <br />of Transportation to upgrade guardrails on Stearns Road in the City of North Olmsted, <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review to align with ODOT timelines. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Kelly, Hemann, Glassburn, Brossard, Schumann, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kelly and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Kelly, Williamson, Schumann, Hemann, Glassburn, Brossard <br />No: None <br />Motion carried.
