MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 30, 2020 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Assistant Director of Law O'Malley and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau and Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. through GoToMeeting. Due to the meeting being a virtual meeting, Council President Jones requested if any member of the public using a computer wished to address Council to notify the Clerk via the chat feature in GoToMeeting and they would be called on later in the meeting. For those dialing in via phone, the lines would be unmuted during the appropriate portion of the meeting. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Assistant Director of Law O'Malley: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • The City did receive $763,245.52 in Coronavirus funding. • Council should have received the May 2020 financial summary and detail along with the key indicators and review. Councilwoman Hemann asked for a moment of personal privilege. As a reminder to my colleagues, I did circulate today our final draft of the letter of support for the possible donation of land from the Ohio Department of Transportation to assist with our flood mitigation work. You should have it in your e-mail today. The Clerk will be sending it out on Friday so if you have any more comments or anything further just let him know. Otherwise, it will stand as is. It incorporates the administration comments as well as those submitted by Councilman Schumann. I think it is good to go and you should have the attachments as well.
