Council Minutes of 8-18-2020 <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />None. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2020-80 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation of four (4) new Lifepack CR2 <br />Defibrillators (A.E.D.) from the Cleveland Clinic for use in the City of North Olmsted <br />Division of Police, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Brossard <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as the City is eager to get this life <br />saving equipment into use as soon as possible. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Limpert, Hemann, Kelly, Glassburn, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Limpert, Kelly, Schumann, Glassburn, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-80 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2020-81 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease agreement and to subsequently <br />purchase via the State Purchase Program with Mtech Company, a Ford E-450 CCTV <br />Truck; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to <br />effectuate such lease and purchase via the State Purchase Program, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as <br />the item is a matter of public safety and public welfare. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Hemann, Schumann, Brossard, Kelly, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption.
