Council Minutes of 8-18-2020 Roll Call: Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Brossard, Limpert, Kelly, Schumann No: None Motion carried. Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 6-0. Roll Call: Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Schumann, Limpert, Brossard, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2020-94 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2020-95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1267, AFL-CIO for the City's Firefighters, for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023. Resolution 2020-96 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. Resolution 2020-97 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP Process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Quality Control Services for the purpose of providing construction engineering services for the Mackenzie Culvert Replacement Project, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three and formal committee review as it is the engineering companion piece to 2020-94, which is in the interest of public health and safety and was discussed in Caucus this evening. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Schumann, Limpert, Kelly, Brossard No: None Motion carried.
