An employee may elect to pass on his selection in any round. In doll -10 so. <br />lie forfeits selection order and bumping rights for that round. <br />B. First and second round selection: <br />First round selection shall begin on November I of each year. <br />2. An employee who selects usage of accutrtulatcd vacation in accordance <br />with 14.9C(3) shall lose his right to cancel any vacation in that calendar <br />year. <br />14.10 After the third (Y) round of vacation selection. any remaining vacation time an <br />employee may have may be selected and approved at any time during the calendar Near <br />providing a vacation slot is available. <br />14.1 1 In the event that an employee is ofl duty due to on -duty injury. or illness of more than <br />live (S) shifts, lie shall be permitted to cancel any vacation previously scheduled during that <br />time. <br />14.12 All requests for vacations shall he acted upon before the end of the shift on which they; <br />are submitted, provided they are submitted prior to 1400 hours. <br />ARTICLE. AV SICK LEAVE <br />15.1 Sick leave shall be earned in accordance with the Ohio State minimum requirements and <br />accumulation shall be unlimited. <br />15.2 Line Personnel shall have the option to receive thirteen ( I3) hours compensatory time or <br />thirteen (13) hours pay at the Basic Hourly Rate of Pay for t.,inc Personnel plus I_.,on,Nv for <br />each six (6) consecutive months olf unused Sick Leave.
