Council Minutes of 9-15-2020 <br />Resolution 2020-95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining <br />Agreement with the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1267, AFL-CIO for <br />the City's Firefighters, for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kelly and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Kelly, Williamson, Limpert, Hemann, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-95 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2020-96 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kelly and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Kelly, Hemann, Williamson, Glassburn, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-96 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2020-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to solicit Statements of Qualifications <br />("S.O.Q.") from qualified professional engineers to provide engineering services for the <br />South Intercept Equalization Tank Project, and further authorizing the Mayor, following <br />approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the <br />request for qualifications ("R.F.Q.") process, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as it has <br />been heard twice in committee and discussed earlier this evening. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Kelly <br />No: None <br />Abstention: Glassburn <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Hemann voted yes with comment. I also want to state this is important for <br />the health and safety of our residents and I thank Council for helping with the suspension <br />and their patience in collecting information. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption.
