Exhibit A: Chapter 1163 Signs (Current) <br />a. Permit: A permit sticker shall be obtained from the Building Department identifying <br />dates the sign is permitted to be displayed. Permit stickers must be attached to the <br />sign when the sign is installed. A separate permit is required for each sticker granted. <br />No more than two stickers may be issued to any building unit in the same calendar <br />year. A scaled diagram of the sign(s) including description of materials, fee, and <br />application signed by the property owner shall be submitted to the Building <br />Department as part of the permit application. <br />b. Maximum Permitted Number: <br />i. Single Occupancy Building: One sign per street frontage is permitted, but not to <br />exceed two. <br />ii. Multiple Occupancy Building: One sign per building unit, but not to exceed three <br />such signs on the property at one time. <br />c. Maximum Permitted Duration: Signs shall be permitted for a maximum of 30 days <br />from the date of permit approval or the duration of the activity or service, whichever <br />is less. All signs shall be removed no later than one (1) week after the completion of <br />the activity or service being advertised. <br />4. Non-commercial opinion signs on non-residential property: All parcels are permitted up <br />to three (3) non-commercial opinion signs no earlier than 30 days before an election and <br />shall be removed no later than one (1) week following the election. Such signs shall not <br />exceed eight (8) square feet in area per face, not exceed four (4) feet in height above <br />grade, and shall be set back a minimum of five (5) feet from every right of way.
