Council Minutes of 12-15-2020 <br />Council President Jones thanked Councilman Kelly for bringing this to Council's <br />attention and said Council's thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Dennis Lambert, who resides at 25057 Carey Lane, e-mailed a statement to Council <br />regarding the Director of Safety and/or Service positions. He discussed his thoughts in it <br />and said it needs to be settled quickly and quietly. The e-mail was forwarded to Council <br />earlier today and a copy is attached to these minutes. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />None <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2020-122 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance establishing the rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 with salary ranges of a zero <br />percent (0%) increase for 2021 and a two and one-half percent (2.5%) increase in 2022 <br />and 2023 for full-time and part-time positions; amending Sections 14, 15 and 16; and <br />otherwise restating compensation benefits and descriptions for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Limpert, Glassburn, Kelly <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2020-122 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2020-123 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and all of <br />Council was given its third reading. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the <br />compensation for the elected officials of the City of North Olmsted at an increase of zero <br />(0) percent for 2022, zero (0) percent for 2023, and two and one-half (2 '/2) percent for <br />2024 and two (2) percent for 2025 for the term of office commencing January 1, 2022 <br />and ending December 31, 2025. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption.
