Special Council Minutes of 12-22-2020 <br />pay up to $1,200 to cover the costs of body armor vests. There are also unused <br />sick bonus reduction and bereavement leave language updates in these contracts. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to amend Resolution 2020-152 as discussed in committee. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion passed. Resolution 2020-152 amended 7-0. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to amend Resolution 2020-153 as discussed in committee. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Limpert, Kelly, Glassburn, Williamson, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion passed. Resolution 2020-153 amended 7-0. <br />• All three collective bargaining agreements are being requested for suspension of <br />the rules as the old ones expire on December 31, 2020. The committee voted 3-0 <br />to recommend Resolution 2020-151 to Council with suspension. The committee <br />voted 3-0 to recommend Resolution 2020-152 to Council with suspension. The <br />committee voted 3-0 to recommend Resolution 2020-153 to Council with <br />suspension. <br />Councilwoman Hemann asked to give a report on Resolution 2020-159, which is a <br />Resolution extending temporary outdoor patio dining areas, and declaring an emergency. <br />This is an extension of our original outdoor dining resolution, which expires on <br />December 31. This extension will carry it through May 31, 2021. There have been some <br />restaurants doing outdoor geodesic domes, patio heaters and fire tables for example. This <br />is being introduced to make sure we offer every opportunity we can for our restaurants to <br />continue to remain open and serving people. It will be overseen by the Building and <br />Planning departments just like the previous one. There is nothing new about it other than <br />an extension of the date. It does fit the requirement of something necessary for our <br />community. <br />Councilman Glassburn Chairman of the Intra -Governmental Relations Committee: <br />The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at <br />7:33 p.m. Present were committee members Glassburn, Schumann and Hemann; Council <br />members Brossard, Kelly, Limpert and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor <br />Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of <br />Planning & Community Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed Resolution 2020-146, which is legislation concerning the contract with <br />the Senior Transportation Connection. There was a discovery of an error in the <br />fuel surcharges, but those typos will be addressed. It was asked to be on <br />C <br />
