EXHIBIT A <br />Eligible Expenses <br />A. Unless excepted below, all expenses of the business that are deductible as ordinary and necessary <br />business expenses under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code may be paid for with grant funds from the <br />Program. Examples of eligible expenses include, but are not limited to: <br />1. Salaries or wages of all employees employed by the business <br />2. Mortgage payments for the business's principal place of business in North Olmsted <br />3. Rent payments for the business's principal place of business or in North Olmsted <br />4. Utility payments — electric, gas, sewer, water, trash removal — for the business's principal <br />place of business in North Olmsted <br />5. Health, property and casualty and liability insurance payments <br />6. Lease or rental payments for vehicles or equipment that are part of the business operation <br />7. Expenses for any City of North Olmsted program such as the Extended Outdoor Dining <br />Program and the Temporary Indoor Dining Program <br />An application for, or receipt of, funds from a State or Federal assistance program does not disqualify <br />you, or your business, from receiving funds from the North Olmsted Small Business Relief Program. <br />However, a grant received through this program may not be used for the same business purposes as <br />funds received from other assistance programs (i.e., 'double-dipping' is not allowed). <br />Applications will be accepted until April 30, 2021 or until all funds have been awarded, whichever <br />occurs first. The City reserves the right to request additional documentation, change requirements <br />and/or deny the Application. <br />Applications are received on a first come first served basis. An application will be given an intake date <br />and intake number only after it is deemed complete. The applicant will be notified via email of the <br />completed application, its acceptance date and acceptance number. Incomplete applications will not <br />be processed and the applicant will be notified via email regarding the deficiencies of the application. <br />
