MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 5, 2020 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kelly, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Planning & Community Development <br />Lieber, Assistant Director of Law O'Malley and Clerk of Council <br />Massarolo <br />Absent: Councilman Limpert and Director of Law Gareau <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. through GoToMeeting. <br />Due to the meeting being a virtual meeting, Council President Jones requested if any <br />member of the public using a computer wished to address Council to notify the Clerk via <br />the chat feature in GoToMeeting and they would be called on later in the meeting. For <br />those dialing in via phone, the lines would be unmuted during the appropriate portion of <br />the meeting. <br />The Council Meeting Minutes of December 1, 2020 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2020-154; First Reading: Resolution 2021-3. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to remove Resolution 2020-158 from the agenda. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Kelly, Glassburn, Williamson, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion passed. Resolution 2020-158 removed from agenda 6-0. <br />On behalf of Council, Council President Jones wished all of North Olmsted a Happy and <br />Healthy New Year. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• City Hall is closed on Monday, January 18 to observe Martin Luther King Day. <br />• The City Hall lobby will re -open to the public on Monday, January 11 `". <br />Appointments will still be required for meeting with staff with the exception of <br />the service windows for the Mayor's Court and Building Department. <br />• The City's safety forces have started to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. <br />• Recreation is doing well. Youth basketball is up and running. Varsity swim and <br />hockey are halfway through its seasons. There are scheduled events for National <br />
