Council Minutes of 1-5-2021 <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Jeff Sturgeon <br />3092 West 231 <br />Mr. Sturgeon asked if it is a done deal the Clague Park improvement will be moving <br />forward. He asked if so, when it will be started? He said he was excited the park is <br />getting permanent bathrooms. <br />Mayor Kennedy said it is a done deal. He said he isn't sure exactly when it will be done, <br />but the hope is in 2021. <br />Mr. Sturgeon asked if there was any idea when the City will start the improvements. <br />Mayor Kennedy responded the City just got the funding so now it has to be planned for <br />and bids will need to be gathered as well. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2020-147 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase two (2) 2021 Ford Explorer Police <br />Interceptor vehicles at a cost of $65,508.00 through the State Purchase Program; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. Councilman Brossard <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br />unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Schumann, Glassburn, Kelly, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-147 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2020-148 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Hemann, Kelly, Glassburn, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-148 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2020-150 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing and affirming the Mayor's acceptance of a scoreboard for the <br />Recreation Center Ice Rink offered by the North Olmsted Hockey Club and further <br />authorizing the North Olmsted Hockey Club exclusive advertising rights on the donated <br />scoreboard for a limited time as a means of fundraising for its programming.
