Council Minutes of 1-5-2021 <br />Councilwoman Williamson asked if the receptionist had a window. <br />Mayor Kennedy responded she does have a window. <br />Councilwoman Williamson said she did not see it last time. <br />Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 7:10 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Schumann, Brossard and Kelly; Council members Glassbum, <br />Hemann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance <br />Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Planning & Community <br />Development Lieber, Assistant Director of Law O'Malley and guests. <br />• Discussed next was Resolution 2020-154. A Resolution dispensing with the <br />formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with <br />Sedgwick in order to provide for managed care services and administration of <br />self-insured workers compensation program, and declaring an emergency. <br />Previously this was a one year contract. The new contract is for three years and is <br />$26,111 in 2021, $26,896 in 2022 and $27,700 in 2023. Sedgwick has been <br />working with the City since 2009 and is very familiar with the City's history. The <br />committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council with suspension. <br />• Discussed next was Resolution 2020-158. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into an agreement with iWorQ Systems for a work order management <br />program for Storm, Streets and Waste Water Treatment Plant operations, and <br />declaring an emergency. The Contract is a one year contract for $16,500. Because <br />there was some information requested by the Council President on December 21 st <br />and it has not been received yet, the committee voted 3-0 to hold Resolution <br />2020-158 in committee. <br />Councilman Kelly Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee: <br />The Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at <br />7:27 p.m. Present were committee members Kelly, Hemann and Brossard; Council <br />members Glassburn, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Director of <br />Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Planning & <br />Development Lieber, Assistant Director of Law O'Malley and guests. <br />• Discussed was Resolution 2020-157. An Ordinance granting an easement to the <br />Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company for the installation and maintenance of <br />electric service at the North Olmsted Recreation Center property, and declaring an <br />emergency. Assistant Director of Law O'Malley explained this was an easement <br />for power to be run to a cell tower at the Recreation Center that has yet to be <br />erected. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council. <br />3 <br />
