MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 2, 2021 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kelly, Limpert Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Law Gareau and <br />Clerk of Council Massarolo <br />Absent: Director of Human Resources Gallo and Director of Planning & <br />Community Development Lieber <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. through GoToMeeting. <br />Due to the meeting being a virtual meeting, Council President Jones requested if any <br />member of the public using a computer wished to address Council to notify the Clerk via <br />the chat feature in GoToMeeting and they would be called on later in the meeting. For <br />those dialing in via phone, the lines would be unmuted during the appropriate portion of <br />the meeting. <br />The Council Meeting Minutes of January 5, 2021 were approved as written. <br />The Council Meeting Minutes of January 19, 2021 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2021-11. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• Fish Fry's at Springvale will begin on February 19 and will run through Good <br />Friday. Due to COVID, it will only be takeout orders with drive up service. As in <br />the past, it will be a different volunteer organization each week and all tips will be <br />donated to the organization. <br />• Registration opens on Monday for Spring Break and Summer Camps at the <br />Recreation Center. <br />• NOACA has invited the City of North Olmsted to participate in its Electric <br />Vehicle Charging Station Program aimed at providing charging infrastructure for <br />the region's growing number of electric vehicles. NOACA will cover 100% of the <br />associated cost. Two locations in the City have been identified. One being the <br />Recreation Center and the other being the City Hall Campus. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• The City participated over two days in a conference with Moody's, the bond <br />rating agency, regarding our current borrowing. The bond rating analysis should <br />be released in the near future. <br />
