Council Minutes of 2-16-2021 <br />Resolution 2021-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with Procare Services - <br />Stryker in order to provide maintenance and repair services for LifePak Heart Monitors <br />used by the North Olmsted Fire Department. <br />Resolution 2021-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the North Olmsted Service Department (Forestry) to make <br />application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for the 2021 Cuyahoga County <br />Healthy Urban Tree Canopy Program; further authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if <br />awarded, and to execute a contract with Cuyahoga County, including requirement of ten <br />percent (10%) local matching funds; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kelly <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review as this is time <br />sensitive with the deadline at the end of February. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kelly, Hemann, Glassburn, Brossard, Williamson, Schumann, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Kelly moved for adoption. Resolution 2021-18 adopted 7-0. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Brossard scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare meeting for Tuesday, <br />February 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2021-17. The Mayor or his designee <br />is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at <br />7:10 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2021-12, Ordinance 2021-15 and Ordinance 2021-16. The <br />Director of Finance is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to adjourn into executive session to consider the <br />purchase of property for public purposes.
