MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED APRIL 6, 2021 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Councilman Limpert, Mayor Kennedy, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. through GoToMeeting. Due to the meeting being a virtual meeting, Council President Jones requested any member of the public using a computer who wished to address Council to notify the Clerk via the chat feature. For those dialing in via phone, the lines would be unmuted during the appropriate portion of the meeting. The Council Meeting Minutes of March 16, 2021 were approved as written. The Special Council Meeting Minutes of March 21, 2021 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Resolutions 2021-22 and 2021-23; First Reading: Resolution 2021-29. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No report. Director of Law Gareau: • No report. Director of Finance Copfer: • The City was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2019. This is the highest form of recognition in the area of Governmental Accounting and Financial Reporting. It's a significant accomplishment for the City as it is the 201h year the City received the award.
