Council Minutes of 10-05-2021 <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kelly, Brossard, Williamson, Glassburn, Hemann, Schumann, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2021-58 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2021-59 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to <br />purchase concrete materials and related supplies for the year 2022, as detailed in the <br />specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval <br />of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2021-60 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Senior Center Administrator to make application to the <br />Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging ("WRAAA") for a Title IIIC Nutrition Grant for <br />2022 and 2023 and, if awarded, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />with the WRAAA to accept the grant funds, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was heard in <br />committee and there is an October 8th deadline for this grant application. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Williamson, Glassburn, Kelly, Limpert, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. Resolution 2021-60 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2021-62 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution approving the award of a Job Creation Grant to Performance Health, Inc. and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Schumann moved to allow a virtual meeting for October 12, 2021 for both <br />the Finance and Public Safety, Health & Welfare committees. <br />Councilman Brossard said he needed to make a correction to his comments during <br />Caucus. He said his Public Safety meeting was going to be on the 19th and not the 12th so <br />Public Safety does not need to be part of the motion. <br />11 <br />
