Council Minutes of 10-05-2021 <br />Center hot lunch program started in 2003. The Senior Center hosts the lunches on <br />Tuesday's and Thursday's and request a dollar donation. After not having hot <br />meals for the past few years, the Senior Center wants to start the program back <br />up. The grant would be approximately $13,000 representing 6,875 meals. The <br />deadline to apply is October 8. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to <br />Council with suspension. <br />Councilman Limpert Chairman of the Streets & Transportation Committee: <br />The Streets & Transportation Committee met on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 6:25 p.m. <br />Present were committee members Limpert, Kelly and Glassburn; Council members <br />Brossard, Hemann, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor <br />Kennedy, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed was Resolution 2021-59. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />advertise for bids for the award of a contract to purchase concrete materials and <br />related supplies for the year 2022, as detailed in the specifications on file with the <br />Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, <br />to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. The Mayor expects the <br />concrete prices to be consistent with previous years. The committee voted 3-0 to <br />recommend to Council. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />None. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2021-56 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Community Development to advertise <br />for bids to award a contract to provide construction services for the Clague Park <br />Restroom and Walking Path Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the <br />Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter a contract with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Kelly moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kelly, Brossard, Glassburn, Limpert, Schumann, Williamson, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2021-56 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2021-58 introduced by Councilman Kelly on behalf of himself and <br />Councilmembers Glassburn and Williamson was given its third reading. An Ordinance to <br />amend Section 555.03 entitled "Specific Prohibitions" of Chapter 555 of the General <br />Offenses Code entitled "Noise Control" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted for the purpose of modifying special regulations for specific activities occurring <br />on Sunday's including, but not limited to, lawn mowing. Councilman Kelly moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />3 <br />
