MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED NOVEMBER 3, 2021 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Council President Jones asked for a moment of silence in honor of former Councilman Dean McKay, who was a longtime representative of Ward IV. The Council Meeting Minutes of October 19, 2021 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Ordinance 2021-63. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • Mayor Kennedy congratulated all the victors in the election yesterday. Director of Law Gareau: • Director of Law Gareau also congratulated everyone who won their elections. He also thanked Mayor Kennedy for his service to the City. Director of Finance Copfer: • Director Copfer congratulated everyone who won their election. She also thanked those who lost for their time and effort in running. • Clark, Schaefer & Hackett was awarded the contract to audit the City for 2021- 2025. Councilman Brossard Chairman of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: The Public Safety, Health & Welfare committee met on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. • Discussed was Resolution 2021-65. A Resolution dispensing with the formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with PRADCO to provide pre-employment testing and police and fire promotional testing services,
