Special Council Minutes of 12-22-2021 <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2021-69 adopted 5-0. <br />Ordinance 2021-71 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance amending the rates of compensation for administrative personnel in the <br />Division of Aging for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023; and otherwise restating the <br />compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel <br />for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed <br />unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Kelly, Glassburn, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2021-71 adopted 5-0. <br />Councilman Glassburn voted yes with comment. This Ordinance I recall specifically <br />speaking not to delay, I hope the new administration considers whether resetting the <br />compensation rates for other departments is applicable handling all of these departments <br />together as soon as possible. Thank you. <br />Resolution 2021-72 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2022 all money due and owing said City from any <br />collection source, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved for <br />adoption. Resolution 2021-72 adopted 5-0. <br />Ordinance 2021-73 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Cuyahoga County and <br />the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division, wherein the City will <br />continue to implement a Community Diversion Program to hear status, misdemeanor, or <br />felony offense complaints involving juveniles through December 31, 2023, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved for adoption.
