Special Council Minutes of 12-22-2021 <br />Mr. Sturgeon asked if it was likely it would be approved. <br />Mr. Limpert said he does not know what the pool looks like and if it would be funded or <br />not. <br />Mr. Sturgeon asked if bids were accepted on the restrooms for Clague Park. <br />Director of Finance Copfer said she does not know. <br />Mr. Sturgeon said there was a public meeting about a month ago to accept the bidding <br />process on it and if the City was still on schedule. <br />Mr. Glassburn said Council would request an update from the administration on the <br />project. As to the 2315' program it is from the County. Elm was done under the program <br />this year. The funds are typically for resurfacing, but that doesn't mean this isn't the time <br />for the City to throw in a few extra bucks to get other problems resolved at the same time <br />if it is efficient to do so. Mr. Kelly, Limpert and himself have advocated for it to be <br />looked into. <br />Mr. Sturgeon said he is glad to see Council be able to use electronic meetings. <br />Director Gareau asked if Council recalled the authorization for Boards and Commissions <br />to meet virtually and if it expired at the end of 2021. He asked if it was possible to <br />consider authorizing the Boards and Commissions to meet virtually through March 31, <br />2022. <br />Councilman Brossard moved to allow Boards and Commissions to meet virtually, if <br />necessary, through March 31, 2022. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn <br />and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Glassbum, Schumann, Limpert, Kelly <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Boards and Commissions authorized to meet virtually, if necessary, <br />through March 31, 2022 by a vote of 5-0. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2021-69 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and Council President Jones was <br />given its third reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and <br />other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2022 <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption.
