Special Council Minutes of 12-28-2021 Councilman Limpert voted no with comment. Based on the guidance from our paid consultants and the Law Director's e-mail received on December 21", I feel there are other maps proposed that more adequately meet the Committee of the Whole and what we sought to accomplish in redrawing the Ward maps than the way Mr. Glassburn and Ms. Hemann proposed while more closely aligning to the Charter of having each ward as nearly as equal on population as practicable, which is outlined as a guideline within the Charter. But again, I'd like to thank Ms. Hemann and Mr. Glassburn for their work as well to propose a new map. As well as Mr. Glassburn for collaborating on different options, such as the one I provided. Thank you. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Brossard moved to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Brossard, Hemann, Limpert, Glassburn, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Councilwoman Williamson excused 5-0. Councilman Limpert moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Schumann. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert, Glassburn, Kelly, Hemann, Brossard No: None Motion carried. Councilman Schumann excused 5-0.
