MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 18, 2022 <br />Present: Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, <br />Scarl and Williamson. <br />Also Present: Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Director of Law Gareau and Director of Finance <br />and Acting Clerk of Council, Carrie Copfer, <br />Absent: Council Member Glassburn <br />Council President Brossard called the meeting to order in Council Chambers.. 5200 Dover <br />Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The following legislation was considered for suspension of the rules. On First Reading O. 2022- <br />12 <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Jones: <br />• Reported on City's snow removal response on 'Sasquatchian Screamer" snow storm <br />from a few days ago. Advised that garbage collection would be delayed one day due to <br />the snow. <br />• Mayor extended accolades to Patrol Officers Wyatt and Walcott who performed early <br />CPR on a resident, thereby playing a significant role in the positive outcome. <br />• Mayor also relayed that she is finalizing the remaining candidates for Director positions <br />and will have those candidates available at next Special Council Meeting. <br />Director of Law Gareau. <br />• Commented on importance of the City's new Martin Luther King holiday. <br />• Reported on the status of a few houses that are on the tear -down list within the City. <br />• Updated Council with regard to the two lawsuits of North Olmsted v. Amanda Ramos <br />and subsequent trial dates. <br />• Updated Council on intent to file property loss lawsuits. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• Advised that Cuyahoga County has moved their tax date back from Jan 27'h to February <br />1 Oth <br />Council President Brossard, Committee of the Whole: <br />The Committee of the Whole met on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 7:06 p.m. Present were <br />Councilmembers Williamson. Limpert, Hemann, Kelly, Gilchrist and Scan, Mayor Jones, Law <br />Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer and guests. <br />• The following Councilmembers were appointed to the following seats on the Boards and <br />Commissions as follows: <br />
