Council Minutes of 01-18-2022 <br />- Councilwoman Williamson and Councilman Glassburn nominated to Housing <br />Commission. Motion passed 6 to 0 (both nominations). <br />- Councilman Limpert nominated to Landmarks Commission. Motion passed 6 to <br />0. <br />- Councilwoman Hemann nominated to Planning and Design Commission. Motion <br />passed 6 to 0. <br />- Councilman Scar[ nominated to Recreation Commission. Motion passed 6 to 0. <br />Motion to approve the recommended nominations was made by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and Seconded by Councilwoman Hemann. <br />Roll Calf <br />Yes. Gilchrist, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Scan, Williamson <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Council of the Whole Committee concluded at 7:14 p.m. <br />Councilwoman Hamann, Chairwoman of the Recreation. Public Parks and Buildings Committee <br />did not have a report but asked for a moment of personal privilege to informally report that she <br />toured the Recreation Center, including the ice rink, locker rooms and the roof. She commented <br />that she collected a lot of information to share with the rest of Council as Council begins to look <br />at some of the plans for the Recreation Center. <br />Councilman Limpert Vice Chair of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 7:15 p.m. Present were <br />Committee members Limpert and Williamson and Council Members Hamann, Kelly, Gilchrist <br />and Scarl, Council President Brossard., Mayor Jones.. Law Director Gareau, Finance Director <br />Cooler and guests. <br />• Discussed Resolution 2022-7 authorizing the Mayor to purchase computer file storage <br />services from Box.com at a cost of $360,000.00. Technology Architect Eric Lundberg <br />explained how this expense is necessary to protect the City's data as well as why BOX <br />was chosen as the vendor. The motion passed by a vote of 2-0. Committee Meeting <br />concluded at 7:33 p.m. <br />• Councilman Limpert asked for a moment of personal privilege to revisit the snow <br />incident. He wanted to congratulate some of the residents on some social media <br />platforms, wherein former plow operators and service members were very helpful in <br />answering residentsquestions and clarifying some of the questions on where salt was <br />placed, and commented on the challenges of the plowing the mains as opposed to the <br />secondarys. It was great to see the help and thinks it is something that can be tapped <br />into in the future as a means to communicate on matters in the future. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />None. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2021-92 introduced by Council President Jones and given its third reading. A <br />Resolution replacing existing Chapter 927 (Erosion and Sediment Control) of the Street. Utilities <br />and Public Services Code with new Chapter 927 (Erosion and Sediment Control) to meet new <br />and updated requirements of the Ohio EPA associated with National Pollutant Discharge <br />
