Ordinance 2021-93 introduced by Council President Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance replacing existing Chapter 928 (Comprehensive Stormwater Management) of the Streets. Utilities and Public Services Code with New Chapter 928 (Comprehensive Stormwater Management) to meet new and updated requirements of the Ohio EPA associated with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit Program Requirements. Ordinance 2021-93 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2022-7 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase computer file storage services from Boxcom at a cost of $360,000.00 as an emergency exception to public bidding and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2022-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2022 and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2022-9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Division of Engineering, and further authorizing the Mayor., following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2022-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide crack sealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control. to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2022-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones.
