Council Minutes of 02-01-2022 <br />Ordinance 2022-8 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2022 and declaring an <br />emergency, as Amended. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings. A <br />Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract <br />to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the <br />specifications on file in the Division of Engineering, and further authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. <br />Resolution 2022-10 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract <br />to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in <br />the specifications on file in the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. <br />Resolution 2022-11 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract <br />to provide new pavement markings to various streets and locations in the city, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file in the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2022-13 introduced and placed on first ready by Mayor Jones. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to request <br />Statements of Qualifications ('S.O.Q.s") from qualified firms to provide professional <br />consulting services for the development of a Strategic Economic Development Plan and <br />further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a <br />contract with the firm selected in the Request for Qualification ("R.F.Q.") process. <br />
