Council Minutes of 04-19-2022 <br />Councilman Kelly moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes: Kelly, Glassburn. Gilchrist, Hemann, Limpert, Scan. Williamson <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2022-35 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2022-36 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance <br />amending and re-establishing Section 171.04 of the Community Reinvestment Chapter of the <br />Administrative Code, entitled "Housing Officer Designated" in order to designate the Director of <br />Economic and Community Development as the Housing Officer. <br />Resolution 2022-37 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with <br />the firm selected in the R.F.Q. process to provide professional consulting services for the <br />development of a Strategic Economic Development Plan, and declaring an emergency <br />Ordinance 2022-38 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to request proposals for <br />professional energy conservation services and consulting or reduction of city energy <br />consumption and utility costs, further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process. <br />Resolution 2022-39 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution of City <br />Council adopting the Mayor's proposal for new program initiatives and Capital improvements <br />made possible by funds received by the City of North Olmsted from The American Rescue Plan <br />Act of 2021, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review.
