Council Minutes of 04-19-2022 Councilman Kelly moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. Roll Call Yes: Kelly, Glassburn. Gilchrist, Hemann, Limpert, Scan. Williamson No None Motion carried. Resolution 2022-35 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2022-36 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Section 171.04 of the Community Reinvestment Chapter of the Administrative Code, entitled "Housing Officer Designated" in order to designate the Director of Economic and Community Development as the Housing Officer. Resolution 2022-37 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the R.F.Q. process to provide professional consulting services for the development of a Strategic Economic Development Plan, and declaring an emergency Ordinance 2022-38 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to request proposals for professional energy conservation services and consulting or reduction of city energy consumption and utility costs, further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process. Resolution 2022-39 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution of City Council adopting the Mayor's proposal for new program initiatives and Capital improvements made possible by funds received by the City of North Olmsted from The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, and declaring an emergency.
